Black & White Haute + Statement Wedges

Although I do have black and white items in my closet, recipe I am not necessarily fond of these colors. This black and white dress though is quite an exception. A gift from my aunt, I think it's haute street fashion. Trendy and chic! I immediately fell in love with it the moment I saw it. Other than the fact it's a gift, lol, who can refuse it? What do you think? :)

I enjoyed the flowy-ness (is that even a word?) of this dress.

I added this detachable sequined collar from Viola Jane Designs to add more glam to the dress. You can get this collar here for $36. Not bad for such a handmade accessory! Viola is very creative lady from Tuscany, Italy. You really need to check out some of her creations on Etsy. She makes different styles of sequined (and non-sequined) collars as well as friendship bracelets which I have a set also. Peter pan collars are awesome trend right now and having a detachable one can instantly sophisticate your simple round neck tops.

The detachable collar has satin ribbon which serves as the lock.

A little behind the scenes…Yes my foot was still a bit swollen and black and blue when we shot this outfit. It's in that gazebo where I had my foot accident.  I wasn't about to walk in heels again in this area. So I wore flip flops and carried my wedges instead. Lol.

And this was me goofing off. My mom said that the lighting was not good on my face. So I was trying to find some light. It was funny, I guess you had to be there!
