Birthday Week Series Part 4: The Red Faux Leather Midi Skirt

It’s the end of the week and I’m also concluding my Birthday Week Series with this look. I guess my little project to wear red and pink is semi-successful…semi because my goal is to wear red and pink the whole week but due to the weather, we’re unable to shoot the pink outfits. *Pouts* I’m sure I still have about 300 or so days to wear pink. Anyway, so if you’re following the trends somehow, you’d notice that midi skirts are making their way back. Midi skirts are so fun-looking although I personally believe it’s not for everybody, especially for the vertically-challenged like me (in other words, lacking in height) but again, it’s nothing that high heels can’t fix. So if you’re lacking in height like me and you’d like to wear midi skirts, be sure to wear it with heels or wedges. You can bet that you will see more midi skirts in spring and summer, in different colors and prints! I think it’s also fun to wear midi at work. Depending on the print and color, you can both use your midi skirt for work and play. In this look, I decided to wear a jacket for a work-friendly outfit. I’d like to be able to show you ladies flexible styles and different looks for work and play. What do you think?
