This week’s outfits, it seems, have turned into vintage-inspired. Honestly, I didn’t know that I do have a certain inclination to vintage styles and prints until of course I started in the process of developing The Happy Skirts™ collection, my skirt collection. Yesterday I posted a shift dress which is sort of vintage too and today is no different…well it’s different in style. We, ladies, are totally in love with florals. Put them in bright yellow and orange color scheme in a very adorable skater dress…we have a winner! I got this dress from The Loft TX Boutique. The dress didn’t come with this metal mirror belt but I cinched my waist again since the dress is a bit loosed in that area…just a tiny bit though. I’m wearing a small. You really can wear it without a belt but for pizzazz, I decided to add it and to make the dress more flattering. Don’t you just love the way it flows? You can probably dress it down but the material is more like jacquard and I’d really just save it for special occasions. The lovely necklace and bracelet from Armed & Readi came right in time before shooting this outfit so I was ecstatic because I was still trying to figure out what jewels to match it with until the jewels from Armed & Readi came. I couldn’t think of anything perfect but gold and pearls. I hope I’m inspiring you to be more colorful in your outfit choices! I really am about to be cheesy here but don’t let your age or your circumstance determine your choices in fashion. Be fun, be playful, be colorful. *Wink*
