We are in the day and age where we want quick fix on everything. Some people call us the microwave generation. There’s movie dinner for when you don’t feel like cooking and there’s cosmetic surgery when you need a fix in your face or your body. However, is cosmetic surgery really the answer to our beauty problems or are there alternatives to cosmetic surgery?
First, let’s talk about the advantages and disadvantages of cosmetic surgery:

Disadvantages:
- It can be very costly and usually not covered by insurance unless it’s a health risk.
- While it’s meant to provide a beauty solution, sometimes, it may cause some damage too such as scarring, depending on the procedure.
- Since it’s invasive, it can also be very risky. There have been lots of cases of cosmetic surgery gone wrong. Some even leading to death.
- Because cosmetic surgery is a surgery and normally comes with a recovery period, you can expect to have some downtime.
As you can see, there are equal advantages and disadvantages to cosmetic surgery. It is up to you to evaluate if you are willing to spend a large amount of money and be under the knife or if you are willing to take alternatives to cosmetic surgery instead.
Obviously, these alternatives may not produce the same desirable outcome as a cosmetic surgery but these are something that you can try for a time being and see if it works for you or not. I didn’t think it’s possible with such a tiny and inexpensive device but the good reviews say the product worked! Obviously, there will always be negative ones but it doesn’t hurt to try for yourself, especially if it will only cost you $13. Also backed my Amazon’s excellent customer service and free return and exchange policy if not satisfied.
This one is definitely on my cart already and ready to be checked out in a few!
Perhaps a combined use of the Nose Cream mentioned above and this nose lifter might be great alternatives to rhinoplasty.

This Sdara Derma Roller might just be what you’re looking for if you have any of the beauty concerns I’ve mentioned.

12. Silicone Bra Inserts
How much does a breast enhancement cost? According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost is $3,708, according to a data published in 2014. That was 2014. I believe it is twice that price now in 2019.
But how much do silicone bra inserts cost? $20! Silicone bra inserts may not as a semi-permanent as the silicone implants but it’s a lot less costly and a lot less risky.
I’ve heard and read so many stories of breast augmentation surgeries that have either gone wrong or have gotten complications and had to be removed. I read they also don’t look good the older you get so some women eventually get them removed.

If the above breast enlargement cream doesn’t work, try this bust firming cream instead. It is all natural with ingredients such as cocoa butter and vitamin E. It doesn’t seem like those natural ingredients can do something about enhancing your bust. But the 4 star reviews say otherwise. There’s a whole bunch of positive feedbacks that the product works!
In my book, this product is probably worth a try! If it’s natural and if it doesn’t cost a lot of money, then go for it!
15. Butt Lifter
This product is the #1 Best Seller on Amazon in the Women’s Shapewear Slips category, even though it only had an average of 3 stars review from 352 shoppers.
It has mixed reviews but for $12, I’d definitely give it a try and see how it works for you. Some customers who bought it have posted some before and after pics and I could see some nice outcome on some.
A word of caution though and this was mentioned on the product description – order a size larger than your normal size. This seems to be a product from China so it’s Asian size. They have included the sizing chart on the product listing so be sure to check that before ordering.
You can have fuller and more toned butt instantly with this butt lifter! No need to get cosmetic surgery.
16. Waist Trainer
If you’re dreaming of getting an hour glass shape without getting a surgery, then this waist trainer is what you might just be looking for!
Sixty-five percent out of 3,878 customer reviews are 5 stars! And it has an average of 4.3 stars out of 5. Not to mention that it is another Amazon’s Choice product.
Why does waist trainer work? Our waist is muscle and we can train muscles. Thus, waist trainer. Consistent everyday use of this will make your torso take its shape. I personally don’t own this particular one but I have something similar that I only use occasionally though.
But take my word for this one and definitely give it a try.
17. Fat Freezing System

I just realized I never got to post an update on that but I gotta be honest that it personally didn’t work for me. BUT it did work for my husband and he wants to go for more sessions.
While cryolipolysis isn’t a cosmetic surgery and is non-invasive, the cost can be similar to a cosmetic surgery. It doesn’t only take one session and it’s normally divided into different parts so the cost can add up pretty fast.
So looking at some at home options, I came across this fat freezing system that seems very very promising with 81% 5 star reviews.
This product seems like a great alternative to the traditional invasive liposuction.
